Privacy, in plain English
You can read the guides and use the tools without an account. We keep the site simple and collect as little as the current features need.
Reading and searching
The current edition has no advertising trackers, analytics scripts, account system, or newsletter signup. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes network requests and may process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs to deliver and protect the site. Its privacy policy explains its handling of this information.
Project answers and calculations
The project planner and board-foot calculator run in your browser. We do not receive your answers or use them to build a profile. The site does not intentionally save those answers between visits; your browser may restore form values when you use Back or restore a tab. Printing and downloading create an output on your device.
Saving a checklist
The contractor checklist offers an optional save on this device. If you choose it, your checklist and notes are stored in this browser’s local storage. They are not synced to a server or another device. Use the tool’s “Clear checklist” action, or clear site data in your browser, to remove them. Avoid adding personal or confidential information on a shared device.
Search URLs
Search runs against our downloaded site index. A search term may appear in the page URL so you can return to the result. Your browser history and anyone you share that link with may therefore see it. Do not enter private project or personal details in search.
Links to other websites
Source links and links to Best Spray Foam open another website with its own privacy practices. Spray Foam Guides and Best Spray Foam share ownership, but no account, profile, personal answer history, or uploaded file is transferred by our current editorial links.
Changes to this notice
If we add analytics, commercial tracking, forms, or new storage, we will update this notice to describe what the feature actually does. Last updated: September 2026.
